Applegreen USA is seeking a Plaza Director to lead a multi-million-dollar travel plaza operations across a major highway with responsibility for day-to-day leadership, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will drive performance through a strong team, ensure brand standards, and optimize food/beverage concepts while maintaining compliance and strong vendor relations.

• Experience leading multi-unit operations in high-traffic venues.
• Track record of driving sales, speed of service, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
• Monitor and analyze progress towards targeted financial and performance objectives then implement strategic changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure that each food and beverage concept within the plaza adheres to brand standards.
• Maintain an engaging work culture of continuous learning, information/skill sharing and professional development, including modeling behavior and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams to maintain appropriate staffing levels across the plaza.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, promotion, disciplinary action, termination, or transfer of plaza leadership.
• Supervise and manage the plaza leadership team to ensure they are meeting their goals, business goals, and supervising their direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures along with local, state, & federal laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Work collaboratively with support partners such as Brand Partners, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Ensure cooperative relationships with business partners, vendors, and the communities.
