Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Baltimore is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy for children ages 2–6, using the ESDM approach and under supervision of Master’s-level clinicians.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with children, and are able to obtain RBT certification within six weeks. The role offers paid training, on‑the‑job development, a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for pursuing or completing a bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology, or education.
• Experience working with children is preferred, including childcare, paraprofessional or caregiving roles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in our center.
• Implement individualized plans created by Master’s-level clinicians and share progress with families.
• Bring skills from childcare, daycare, education, or caregiving into a clinical environment.
