Job summary

KI, a world-class supplier of innovative furniture solutions for business, education, and healthcare, seeks a full-time Plating Department Operator for our Green Bay facility on 2nd shift. A $1.00/hour raise is provided within the first year. Shift: Mon–Fri, 2pm–10pm, starting pay $21.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift premium.

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical inclination helpful.
• Willingness to train on any shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating department on shift to meet production schedules and internal customer needs.
• Ensure proper operation of the plating system.
• Rack and un-rack various frames.
• Maintain production levels and optimize system efficiency by managing work bars.
• Ensure proper chemical titrations in plating tanks.

Job Duties:

• The proper operation of the plating department on their shift, in order to maintain production schedules and meet the needs of their internal customers.
• Ensure proper operation of the Plating system
• Rack & un-rack various frames
• Maintain production levels and maximize the efficiency of the system by maintaining optimal levels of work bars in operation
• Ensure proper chemical titrations in plating tanks

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 2nd shift position
• Hours are Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
• Starting rate of pay is $21.00/hourwith a $2.00/hour shift premium
• Overtime during busy season
