Job summary

KI, a leading furniture solutions company, seeks a full-time Plastics Process Specialist for its Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift (10pm–6am). A $3.00/hour shift differential and a $1.00/hour raise within the first year are included.

Responsibilities include supporting operators, following schedules, and training staff to maintain quality and safety. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Willingness to train on any shift and adapt to changing priorities.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach are essential for shift work.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow schedule.
• Ensure operators have everything needed.
• Assist operators with questions about schedule, quality, etc.
• Mix material as needed and assist with color changes.
• Train operators and maintain cleanliness in the department.
• Handle materials and manage scrap regrind.
• Provide feedback to Process Manager and shift leadership.

Job Description

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Plastics Process Specialist to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility to work on our 3rd shift. 3rd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $3.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

• Read and follow schedule
• Ensure operators have everything needed
• Assist operators with questions regarding schedule, quality, ect..
• Mix material as needed
• Assist with color changes
• Assist with training of operators
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the department
• Material handling within the department
• Regrinding of scrap
• Clean color pails and maintain color pail area
• Make decisions regarding quality and other departmental decisions along with the Process Specialist (Seek Process Manager advice when needed)
• Largely focused on Operator training and development. Must be willing to train and teach operators.
• Provide Plastic’s Process Manager and Process Specialists with feedback regarding the operation of the shift as needed.
• Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment

• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 3rd Shift position
• Hours are 10pm-6am Sunday night - Friday morning
• Shift premium of $3.00/hour
• Overtime during busy season
