Job summary

KI in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (6am–2pm, Monday–Friday) with a $1.00/hour raise in the first year. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, orderly facility and supporting by building crates for shipping.

Candidates should be prepared for light to moderate physical work and periodic overtime during busy seasons. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and train on any shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly and clean environment.
• Attention to detail.
• General housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping floors, restrooms, trash, recycling, snow removal and dusting.
• Follow work instructions.

Job Duties:

This position maintains the facilities by maintaining an orderly clean environment. In addition this position also supplies support by building crates and other wooden needs for shipping of product.

Daily Production Activities:

• Be able to maintain an orderly and clean environment.
• Attention to detail
• Conduct general housekeeping and cleaning duties such as sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, taking out garbage, leading recycling efforts, snow removal, and general dusting
• Ability to follow work instructions

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Value Added Skills:

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
• Team Player
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to train on any shift

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 1st shift position
• Hours are 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday
• Overtime during busy season
