KI is seeking a full-time Fabrication Technician for our Green Bay manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. The role includes operating machinery to fabricate metal frames and performing quality inspections in a fast-paced cell environment.

Responsibilities

• Use tools in the cell including hand drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screwdrivers, wrenches and related items.

Job Duties

The Fabrication technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced.This position is also responsible for:

• Quality inspection of the components being produced
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses
• Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 2nd Shift position
• Hours are 2pm-10pm Monday – Friday
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour plus a shift premium of $2.00/hour
• Overtime during busy season
