Job summary

Krueger International (KI) seeks a full-time Assembly Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is given within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities include hand welding, operating fabrication equipment, and following production schedules while maintaining quality. KI offers competitive benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or factory experience helpful.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld products according to production schedule.
• Maintain high quality and ensure proper welds.
• Operate fabrication equipment (robotic welders, hydraulic presses, drills).
• Program tube or wire bending equipment in the cell.
• Follow production schedules and coordinate with the team.
• Participate in Kaizen events, layout planning and Value Stream Mapping.

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment

Job Duties:

• Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs
• Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
• Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses...)
• Required to operate, edit and program tube or wire bending equipment in the cell
• Follow production schedules, determine what should run and huddle with the team.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping as events happen)

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Value Added Skills:

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 1st Shift position
• Hours are 6am-2pm Monday - Friday
• Overtime during busy season
