Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to guide the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities across the ecosystem.

You will bridge platform engineering, product teams, and leadership, translating technical needs into concrete requirements and measurable outcomes while driving adoption and reliability of internal developer platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects.
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python).
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred.
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, security, or shared capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
• Strong product judgment balancing scalability, reliability, and delivery.
• Knowledge of IaC platforms like Pulumi and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem.
• Define and manage cloud-native platform capabilities through the product lifecycle.
• Partner with platform engineering to define requirements for internal developer platforms and tooling.
• Identify pain points and translate them into platform opportunities to improve velocity and reliability.
• Define adoption, performance, and developer experience metrics to track value.
• Represent stakeholder requirements and priorities to engineering, sales, and leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on initiatives and roadmaps.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with senior leadership.
