Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities. You will bridge platform engineering, product teams, leadership, and clients to ensure alignment on vision, priorities, and adoption goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or other shared capabilities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
• Strong product judgment balancing long-term scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery needs
• Understanding IaC platforms like Pulumi and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem
• Define and manage creation and delivery of cloud-native platform capabilities
• Partner with platform engineering to define requirements for internal developer platforms and tooling
• Identify pain points and translate into platform product opportunities
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics
• Represent internal users and gather customer requirements for platform features
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on initiatives
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with Strategy and Leadership teams
• Prioritize platform requirements for business and application owners
