Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to help shape strategy, roadmaps, and delivery of shared platform capabilities. You will bridge platform engineering and product teams, aligning stakeholders on vision, priorities, and adoption goals.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, translates engineering needs into actionable requirements, and drives measurable outcomes across the MedInsight ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects.
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python).
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred.
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or related capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
• Strong product judgment balancing scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery needs.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code platforms like Pulumi and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy and Leadership to maintain roadmaps.
• Define product requirements for internal developer platforms and deployment workflows.
• Identify pain points and translate into platform opportunities to improve velocity and reliability.
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics.
• Gather customer requirements and feedback, representing the voice of internal users.
• Coordinate with engineering, client support, sales, and leadership on key initiatives.
• Prioritize core platform requirements for cross-functional understanding.
