Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (e.g., Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
• Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or other shared tech capabilities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements, roadmap priorities, and stakeholder communications
• Strong product judgment balancing long-term platform scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery needs
• Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and report conclusions
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code platforms such as Pulumi and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Engineering, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to strengthen platform foundations
• Define product requirements for internal developer platforms, reusable services, deployment workflows, observability, reliability, security, and tooling
• Translate developer pain points into platform opportunities and prioritize work to improve velocity and scale
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics for value realization
• Capture and prioritize internal user needs and feedback
• Represent platform engineering in client and sales discussions around authentication and data hosting
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on key initiatives
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with Strategy and Leadership teams
• Prioritize platform requirements for clarity to business and application owners
