Job summary

Stripe is hiring a Solutions Architect in Chicago to partner with platform customers, architecting Stripe solutions and leading technical wins. Expect deep executive engagement with CIO/CTO, and end-to-end customer transformation planning across global accounts.

Office locations include Chicago and New York; the role is full-time with in-office expectations and a comprehensive benefits package. You will drive payments and platform integration strategies with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect or sales engineer.
• Executive engagement skills with senior decision makers; credibility at all levels.
• Strong facilitation, presenting, and influencing abilities.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and API architecture.
• Excellent spoken and written communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Understanding Connect and Stripe Payments/Billing systems and their applicability.
• Ability to integrate Stripe/RESTful APIs with web apps.

Responsibilities

• Define customer strategy within Platform accounts; identify and close complex opportunities.
• Provide thought leadership to CIO, CTO, COO, CRO, CDO and engineering leaders.
• Design and articulate end-to-end customer transformation journeys and roadmaps.
• Conduct business analysis, market/industry research.
• Lead strategy engagements and secure technical wins through executive briefings and demos.
• Expand Stripe footprint to new markets and business units.
