Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Solutions Architect/Presales Engineer in New York to partner with customers at the executive level, shaping platform strategies and monetization opportunities. You will architect Stripe-based solutions, demonstrate value through demos, and guide technical decisions to drive growth across global brands and platforms.

You will engage CIO/CTO and other senior leaders, navigate complex integrations with ERP/CRM and Billing systems, and collaborate with product and engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing engineering role (solution consultant/solutions architect/sales engineer) in a global software enterprise.
• Executive engagement with key decision makers to build credibility at all levels.
• Ability to lead customer meetings and guide strategic opportunities.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and API architecture.
• Strong written and spoken communication; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Knowledge of Stripe Connect and platform payments integration.
• Understanding of how ERP/CRM, Billing, Tax systems interact in a platform stack.

Responsibilities

• Define customer strategy within the Platform account team and identify complex opportunities.
• Engage CIO/CTO/Head of Payments and other stakeholders to secure technical wins.
• Understand customer objectives and design Stripe solutions to meet them; articulate end-to-end transformation journeys.
• Conduct business analyses and market/competitor research relevant to accounts.
• Lead strategy engagements, executive briefings, readouts, and solution demos.
• Expand Stripe footprint to new markets and business units with additional capabilities.
