Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to architect and deliver the NBA platform's reliability, scalability, and production readiness.

You will write production code in Java, Python, Node.js, and TypeScript, mentor a small team, and collaborate across platform, data, and product teams. You will own observability, testing, release readiness, and partner with decisioning, orchestration, and activation groups to ensure compliant, auditable, high-performance services for Medicare

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of full stack software engineering experience with leadership in reliability/production operations.
• Strong backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on automation and testing framework design (unit/integration/load).
• Strong observability skills: logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring.
• Experience with distributed systems reliability patterns (fault tolerance, retries, recovery).
• Ability to lead a small pod and manage contractors while contributing as an IC.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native apps.

• Own uptime, performance, resilience, and operational excellence across services.
• Build automated testing frameworks and quality standards.
• Contribute production code and reliability tooling.
• Define monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting strategy.
• Lead a small engineering pod and mentor contractors.
• Coordinate with cross-team decisioning, orchestration, and data teams.
• Ensure production readiness before releases.
