Job summary

MedInsight, a Milliman subsidiary, seeks a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to shape strategy and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

The role acts as a bridge between platform engineering, product teams, leadership, and clients, translating engineering needs into clear requirements and measurable outcomes, with strong communication and technical fluency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
• Familiarity with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python)
• Understanding of cloud technologies with Azure experience preferred
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, security, or other shared capabilities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps
• Strong product judgment balancing scalability, reliability, and delivery

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for shared platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem
• Define and deliver cloud-native platform capabilities
• Partner with platform eng to define requirements for internal dev platforms and APIs
• Identify pain points and translate into platform opportunities to improve velocity and reliability
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics
• Gather customer requirements and feedback from internal users
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on initiatives
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with leadership
• Prioritize platform requirements for business and owners
