Job summary

Milliman MedInsight seeks a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities. You will bridge platform engineering and product teams to ensure alignment on vision, roadmap, priorities, and adoption goals, translating engineering needs into measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, is technically fluent, and can translate operational pain points into clear requirements and prioritized

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including platform or technical product management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or related field.
• Experience with analytics technologies (Databricks, SQL, R, Python).
• Understanding of cloud technologies and Azure experience preferred.
• Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, observability, reliability, and security.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
• Strong product judgment balancing scalability, developer experience, compliance, reliability, and delivery needs.
• Ability to analyze user requests and develop project plans.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for platform capabilities across MedInsight ecosystem.
• Define product roadmaps with Strategy and Leadership teams.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations.
• Prioritize investments to improve velocity, reliability, and scale.
• Define adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics.
• Gather and prioritize internal user feedback and requirements.
• Represent platform needs in client and sales discussions around authentication and data hosting.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on initiatives.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps with leadership.
