Job summary

Twenty Technologies is seeking a platform leadership leader to guide the engineering foundation that enables onboarding, administration, and security across our products. You will oversee frontend, backend, and infrastructure, shaping the shared UI framework and the underlying services powering our customers.

In this platform‑oriented role with a customer‑facing component, you will own the technical roadmap and partner with a Product Manager spanning platform and feature teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering management experience with on‑time delivery.
• Led teams across frontend, backend and/or infrastructure engineers.
• Broad technical breadth across modern web platforms and backend services.
• Owned a technical roadmap and prioritized under constraints.
• Built or maintained platform or shared‑service capabilities.
• Track record of coaching and developing ICs.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cross‑disciplinary team of engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Own the technical roadmap; partner with the Product Manager on the product roadmap.
• Run projects and workstreams end‑to‑end—define timelines, unblock blockers, drive delivery.
• Guide architecture and decisions across the platform stack for coherence, security, and scale.
• Establish engineering quality standards: design reviews, testing discipline, documentation, security practices.
• Define and maintain interfaces and shared capabilities used by feature teams.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers; give constructive feedback and growth plans.
• Run structured hiring: set baselines, interview processes, debriefs, and close candidates.
• Collaborate with feature teams to ensure platform meets needs.
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and communicate timelines, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Occasionally contribute hands‑on—code review, implementation, or debugging to unblock delivery.
