Job summary

Panorama Education is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Platform to lead the team building core infrastructure, shared services, and developer tooling. You will own delivery, platform health, and security while enabling AI-driven product enhancements.

You will partner with the Lead Product Manager to shape roadmaps, drive multi-team alignment, and grow a senior/staff engineering team in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software engineering experience, with 5+ years in people management.
• Experience leading platform, infrastructure, or developer experience teams.
• Hands-on with AWS; Terraform and Kubernetes preferred.
• Strong collaboration with product, security, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform engineering team of senior and staff engineers; set high standards and move fast.
• Guide architectural direction across infrastructure, shared services, and system design with senior staff.
• Own delivery and platform health from planning to production; define health metrics and drive improvements.
• Support AI workloads; ensure observable, cost-aware, and secure infrastructure for AI features.
• Partner with product to translate roadmap into buildable plans and prioritize technical work.
• Represent platform engineering across teams and drive multi-team alignment and updates.
• Keep security, privacy, and compliance at the forefront with security and legal partners.
