Job summary

InterSystems Corporation is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead Platform Engineering, guiding a team building modern build systems, developer tooling, cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to boost developer productivity and reliability across the company.

You will own strategic initiatives, mentor engineers, align priority with cross-functional partners, and drive platform adoption, security, and performance while championing engineering excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, build systems, or automation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of strategic Platform Engineering initiatives.
• Balance platform investments with operational priorities and technical debt.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, and communicate tradeoffs.
• Define and measure platform success by adoption, reliability, and productivity.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing Platform Engineering team.
