Job summary

Genius AI is seeking an Engineering Manager for a Platform team to drive engineering quality, team health, and impactful outcomes for the businesses we serve. You will lead tier-zero systems, including identity, permissions, session management, and messaging infrastructure, foundational to every product on the platform.

You will partner closely with Product and Design to ensure robustness, scalability, and fast delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience including leadership of a team at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience applying AI to architecture, debugging, writing, and review processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution for your team, including delivery, quality, scope trade-offs, and decision-making to ship features without accumulating technical debt.
• Embed AI tooling into development processes to accelerate cycles and improve code quality.
• Architect AI-powered systems and tooling to multiply team productivity and output.
• Partner with Product and Design from strategy to production, providing engineering perspective before decisions.
• Contribute to technical direction, surface platform needs and scaling challenges, and guide architectural decisions.
• Develop your team by investing in growth and fostering collaboration.
• Partner with recruiting to hire strong engineers and maintain a high talent bar.
