Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of experience with API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including service-mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Cilium.
• 1+ year of experience building architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire for ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform services to support Arkestro's growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries, ensuring security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
