Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and build our foundational data platforms and core cloud infrastructure. You will work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable systems.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and distributed architectures, plus no-SQL/SQL databases and CI/CD tooling. The role includes equity, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time engineering experience, post-graduation with backend systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and public cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Track record of owning engineering projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker and related deployment technologies.
• Experience with orchestration platforms like Temporal and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience with MongoDB and Postgres.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling (CircleCI).
