Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Platform Engineer/SRE to design, build, and scale backend systems and APIs for a growing AI/ML platform. You will work with the founding team to optimize infrastructure, deploy robust cloud solutions, and improve deployment pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in production infrastructure, hands-on Docker/Kubernetes, and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. Remote, full-time role with international scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps affecting production infrastructure.
• Deploying and maintaining production systems at scale and resolving outages.
• Hands-on with containerization/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Backend languages and API familiarity; databases and observability awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and communication; capable of cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to remove bottlenecks.
• Maintain and scale cloud infrastructure, databases, and pipelines.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term platform growth.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot outages, and improve monitoring.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
