Job summary
remote work is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain a Backstage-powered developer portal. You will collaborate with Platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to streamline workflows, centralize service discovery, and advance automation across our cloud environments.
The role focuses on developer experience, internal tooling, and open-source ecosystems, with flexible work options including fully remote arrangements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to integrate internal tools with APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
- Understanding of OAuth, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Passion for developer experience, automation, and open-source contributions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance our Backstage-powered developer portal.
- Collaborate with Platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to improve workflows.
- Drive automation and self-service workflows across teams.
- Centralize service discovery and improve observability tooling integration.
