Job summary

remote work is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain a Backstage-powered developer portal. You will collaborate with Platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to streamline workflows, centralize service discovery, and advance automation across our cloud environments.

The role focuses on developer experience, internal tooling, and open-source ecosystems, with flexible work options including fully remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to integrate internal tools with APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Understanding of OAuth, RBAC, and security best practices.

DevOps Team:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance our Backstage-powered developer portal. You will work closely with Platform engineering, DevOps, and application teams to improve developer workflows, centralize service discovery, and drive automation. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about developer experience, internal tooling, and open-source ecosystems.

• Ensuring seamless integration of CI/CD pipelines, service catalogs, and observability tools

What makes you a great fit:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with Golang, Python, or other backend languages
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
