Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Developer Experience Engineer to streamline internal development by optimizing tools and processes across the software lifecycle. You will help engineers write high-quality code with minimal friction, and advance the developer experience across our remote teams.

Expect to design portals, build CLI tooling, and craft onboarding docs while aligning with golden paths and standardized practices for a global, 100% remote workforce.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise building and maintaining internal developer platforms and portals.
• Hands-on experience developing CLI tools and automating onboarding flows.
• Strong background creating high-quality technical documentation and DX improvements.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language for tooling development.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal developer portals to centralize access to tools, resources, and services.
• Develop and optimize CLI tools and automation to streamline repetitive development tasks and workflows.
• Create and manage comprehensive documentation and onboarding flows to reduce time-to-productivity for new engineers.
• Identify and eliminate friction points in the development journey through feedback with engineering teams.
• Implement and advocate for golden paths that standardize best practices across the organization.
