Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager - Computer Vision to lead the strategy and roadmap for our Computer Vision Platform and related end‑to‑end products. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration with internal teams to define user requirements, APIs, and scalable AI infrastructure, shaping how our AI models are deployed and adopted across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes ownership of ML model lifecycles, program governance, and measurable platform success

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience, with a focus on platform products, AI/ML, or complex, cross‑functional technical domains.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as an individual contributor building machine learning models, production ML pipelines, computer vision algorithms, or software engineering for ML or data‑oriented products.
• Technical acumen in computer vision, ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms, and translating AI investments into customer outcomes.
• Proven experience defining product vision, strategy and roadmaps with KPI/OKR frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics, real‑time video processing, and inference optimization.
• Leadership to influence senior leaders, drive consensus, and communicate roadmaps and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Engage internal product leaders to define platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability) and drive adoption of platform services.
• Author MRDs, PRDs, and user stories for core platform capabilities and for select end‑to‑end computer vision products.
• Own product lifecycle for central reusable computer vision models and AI infrastructure.
• Define and track metrics (adoption, performance, latency, cost‑efficiency, outcomes) for the platform.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify opportunities and inform build-versus-buy decisions.
