Everforth Apex develops enterprise automation platforms powering an Internal Cloud HCI ecosystem in Plano, onsite. You will design and build software for provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and governance of infrastructure components across the private cloud stack.

The role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD integration, observability, and scalable cloud platform operations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend or platform engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure, private cloud, or platform engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation principles.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices that automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Develop platform automation capabilities for compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI services.
• Engineer infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation frameworks for standardized platform deployments.
• Design reusable software components, libraries, and services that support scalable cloud platform operations.
• Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Develop containerized applications and services supporting platform engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with infrastructure architects and cloud platform teams to define automation requirements.
• Create observability, monitoring, and operational tooling to improve platform reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and software engineering best practices.
