Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Platform Engineer in Greenwood Village, Colorado (onsite) to design, build, and maintain cloud-native data infrastructure using Terraform for Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS with automated CI/CD pipelines.

You will treat infrastructure as code, ensure security, cost governance, and incident response, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data platform or data infra engineering.
• Snowflake production experience: warehouse sizing, RBAC, monitors, cost governance.
• Databricks production experience: workspace admin, policies, Unity Catalog, jobs.
• AWS core services experience: IAM, S3, VPC, KMS, compute.
• Proven IaC experience with Terraform across providers.
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines for infra.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control and branching.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Terraform modules for Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS.
• Manage remote state, including locking and workspace isolation per environment.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for infra changes.
• Implement automated testing and drift detection for infrastructure.
• Provision Snowflake and Databricks resources via code.
• Build the AWS foundation: networking, IAM, encryption, storage.
• Implement monitoring, cost visibility, and alerts.
• Own reliability, security posture, and incident response for platform infrastructure.
