Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Lead AWS Platform/DevOps Engineer in Plano, TX (hybrid 1-2 days onsite). You will own AWS infrastructure end to end, manage CI/CD pipelines, and guard platform governance and cost.

This hands-on role requires strong collaboration with developers and architects to ensure reliability, security, and scalable cloud usage. You will operate as the AWS gatekeeper with no direct reports, delivering governance, cost awareness, and platform stability across teams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience administering AWS infrastructure end to end.
• Proficient with IAM, EC2, EMR, Lambda, networking and permissions.
• Experience managing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong cost awareness and FinOps mindset.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure end to end from provisioning to operations.
• Administer AWS services, ensure reliability and security.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (not building them).
• Collaborate with developers and architects to guide platform decisions.
• Monitor costs and optimize cloud spend across environments.
