You will engage with diverse customers to identify opportunities for engineered plastic solutions, blending technical understanding with consultative sales and relationship-building. Territory coverage: Chicago to Champaign and Northwest Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform sales calls and visits.
• Identify key buying influences and establish relationships.
• Develop a market plan for the territory with goals and benchmarks.
• Conduct training sessions on products and services for customers and employees.
• Follow pricing and report significant trends to management.
• Communicate product and quality requirements to inside sales and operations.
• Estimate customer usage and involvement of business units.
• Assist inside sales on key accounts and projects.
• Assist credit managers as required.
• Recommend product catalogue and service additions/deletions.
• Initiate and monitor inventory requirements.
• Advise on current/potential advertising.
• Increase knowledge of products and procedures.
• Maintain and update customer database.
• Review quotes daily and follow up on orders.
