Job summary

Professional Plastics is seeking an Inside Sales professional in Loves Park, IL who will provide product information, pricing and support to customers. You will maintain and grow existing accounts and develop targeted accounts to increase sales revenue and gross profit.

The role requires 1–3 years of sales experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates with industrial inside sales or distribution experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a sales role.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Industrial Inside Sales, Distribution or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides knowledge of product lines and applications to customers.
• Calculates, quotes and negotiates price, deliveries and terms of sale.
• Documents information on sales quotes for outside sales and management.
• Maintains customer orders and processes paperwork for credits.
• Develops strong relationships with customers and resolves problems.
• Sources materials from vendors.
• Performs outgoing calls and prospects new business.
• Follows up on existing quotes.
• Assists in expediting customer orders and vendor purchase orders.
• Communicates with outside sales, purchasing and management on new developments, sourcing, and key account information.
• Attends branch sales meetings and provides weekly sales summaries.
