Star Plastics seeks a Territory Sales Engineer to drive commercial growth across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The role is remote/field-based with residence within the territory, reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of outside sales or business development experience in plastics or related industrial markets.
• Ability to engage credibly with both commercial and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue and grow the territory.
• Develop and execute a territory growth plan for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
• Build trusted relationships with OEMs, processors, molders, distributors, and partners.
• Lead a disciplined sales process from prospecting through evaluation, sampling, and expansion.
• Identify customer needs and translate insights into actionable internal steps.
• Sell solutions based on performance, processing, supply security, service, sustainability, and value.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to position materials for new programs.
• Develop business in new applications aligned with Star Plastics’ direction.
• Provide market intelligence on customers, competitors, pricing, and opportunities.
• Represent Star Plastics at customer visits and industry events.
