Job summary

BD is seeking a PRS Area Specialist to act as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals within the US region. You will support and grow the BD Surgery AR&R portfolio through high-touch service, strategic account management, and education.

You will manage orders, implement the new eCommerce platform, and collaborate with Marketing to maximize customer engagement. Travel and on-site collaboration are expected to sustain BD’s growth in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree desired.
• 2+ years of sales or medical device experience.
• Experience in high-touch customer service or premium account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present data-driven insights.
• Willingness to relocate for future career advancement.
• Must meet credentialing and compliance requirements for hospital access.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-touch service to PRS customers remotely and onsite.
• Navigate internal BD systems to resolve orders, pricing, billing, and education inquiries.
• Facilitate urgent order fulfillment, returns, and account setup.
• Guide product selection, sizing, and on-label use guidance.
• Escalate issues and advocate for resolution through internal channels.
• Lead implementation of the new eCommerce platform in the region and drive adoption.
• Distribute product literature and collateral; support regional trade shows.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product updates and inventory changes.
