Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to grow our clinical, educational, and research programs. Candidates should be skilled in reconstructive surgery including microvascular breast reconstruction, craniofacial and hand surgery, with opportunities to expand transgender care and aesthetic practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency required.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by ABPS or foreign equivalent recognized by ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical teaching ability in a medical education setting.
• Fellowship in microvascular surgery desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical care in plastic surgery (reconstructive and microsurgery).
• Provide teaching and mentorship within the integrated residency program.
• Engage in research activities and scholarly work.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call as needed.

Education

MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
