Job summary

BD is hiring a Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Area Business Manager for the Northeast to drive sales growth and market share across PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME. The role focuses on strategic sales planning, customer relationships, and achieving targets, with travel across the Northeast as needed.

You will partner with marketing, clinical support, and customer service to ensure excellent product support and a strong customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of medical device sales experience, preferably surgical/hospital-based products.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving market share growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets for the PRS product line in the Northeast.
• Cultivate relationships with surgeons, hospital admins, and purchasing departments.
• Identify new opportunities and expand market penetration through strategic account management.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in‑service training to healthcare professionals.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales plans.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical support, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless experience.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and expense reports.
• Attend industry conferences and trade shows to stay current on market trends.
• Manage daily sales activities to maximize territory coverage.
