Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions collaborates with a leading plastics/metals manufacturer to recruit a Quality Supervisor for a new Mocksville plant. The role centers on supervising the Quality Department for plastic injection molding, ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and internal quality requirements.

You will lead a hands-on floor presence, coordinate inspections, manage nonconforming material, and drive corrective actions with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to prevent defects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in quality control/quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and SPC.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality department operations on the plastic injection molding floor.
• Review shift quality issues, scrap, and production schedules.
• Ensure first-piece, in-process, and final inspections are performed.
• Monitor critical dimensions and molding defects.
• Contain nonconforming material and coordinate disposition.
• Supervise Quality Technicians/Inspectors and provide coaching.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation.
