Job summary

Aluma-Form in Mocksville, NC, is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the plastic injection molding operation. You will lead the Quality Department daily, ensure products meet customer and engineering requirements, and maintain inspection processes, controlling nonconforming material, and supporting production in resolving quality issues.

You will be highly visible on the manufacturing floor, direct Quality Technicians/Inspectors, and partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review prior shift quality issues and production concerns.
• Monitor production processes for compliance with work instructions and quality checks.
• Ensure first-piece, in-process, final, and dimensional inspections are completed on schedule.
• Identify and contain nonconforming material and determine disposition.
• Lead and coach Quality personnel; assign daily inspection responsibilities.
• Escalate significant quality issues to management and coordinate corrective actions.
