Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking a Quality Supervisor for a newly established plastics injection molding operation in Mocksville, NC. The role focuses on supervising the Quality Department, ensuring products meet customer and internal requirements, and guiding a team of technicians on the factory floor.

You will lead start-of-shift quality reviews, perform floor inspections, monitor nonconforming material, and drive corrective actions with Production and Engineering to prevent defects and improve

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

Review prior shift quality issues and production concerns at start of shift.
Conduct floor inspections and verify in-process and final inspections.
Monitor critical dimensions, visual requirements, and molding defects.
Identify nonconforming material, containment, and disposition decisions.
Coordinate rework, repair, scrap, or use-as-is actions as needed.
Coach Quality personnel and ensure adequate coverage on the floor.
Escalate significant quality issues to management and drive containment.
