Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Quality Supervisor for its Mocksville plastics injection molding operation. You will oversee the Quality Department on the production floor, ensure adherence to work instructions, and drive containment of nonconforming material.

Close collaboration with Production, Engineering and Maintenance is required to prevent defects. The role emphasizes first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, plus documentation and corrective actions to maintain product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management preferred.
• 5+ years in quality control/assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in SPC and quality tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Quality Department activities on the production floor.
• Ensure inspections are performed (1st piece, in-process, final).
• Control nonconforming material and oversee disposition decisions.
• Coach Quality Technicians/Inspectors and assign priorities.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to prevent defects.
• Document quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and root-cause investigations.
