Job summary

Job Juncture is assisting a leading manufacturer in Mocksville, NC, in finding a Quality Supervisor for plastic injection molding operations. The role focuses on supervising the Quality Department on the plant floor to ensure conformance to customer, engineering, and internal quality requirements.

The incumbent will guide technicians, monitor inspections, control nonconforming material, and drive corrective actions to prevent defects while supporting production with quality problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in statistical methods and quality tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review quality issues at start of each shift and assign personnel.
• Perform floor inspections and ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Control nonconforming material and coordinate disposition decisions.
• Ensure accurate inspection documentation and record retention.
• Lead problem solving, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Oversee training and development of Quality Technicians/Inspectors.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering on recurring issues.
• Provide shift-to-shift handoff and communicate issues to management.
