Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to execute venipuncture and plasma collection with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes donor care, equipment operation, documentation, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced center environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of healthcare experience, with training completed prior to independent duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent.
• Completed training documentation prior to performing duties independently.
• State requirements may dictate additional certifications.

Responsabilités

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture procedures while maintaining safety.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and GMP SOPs and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Maintain donor experience and cleanliness of the work area.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document exceptions.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; manage biohazard waste per protocols.
• Maintain logs and assist with training and QA activities.
