Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a plasmapheresis technician to perform venipunctures and manage automated plasmapheresis processes. You will ensure compliance with FDA/SOPs, maintain donor safety and a positive experience, and keep meticulous records.

You will set up equipment, monitor conditions, and assist QA in continuous improvement. Training and safety are emphasized. Responsibilities include operating plasmapheresis machines, troubleshooting alarms, managing waste, and performing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Completed training documented before performing duties independently.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs to maintain production standards.
• Provide high level donor service and maintain donor experience.
• Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis; label units properly.
• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with safety and quality.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document exceptions.
• Manage biohazard waste and clean equipment per safety protocols.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance on plasmapheresis machines.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including machine logs.
• Mentor and train team members as a designated trainer.
• Collaborate with QA on donor floor performance and CAPA initiatives.
