Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician responsible for performing plasmapheresis and venipuncture, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will operate plasmapheresis machines, monitor donors, maintain logs, prepare equipment, and provide excellent donor service while following SOPs and safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform venipuncture.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal SOPs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA and GMP standards.
• Maintain donor experience and safety.
• Stock and replenish supplies; keep a clean work environment.
• Review donor IDs and maintain confidentiality per SOPs.
• Set up equipment and label samples accurately.
• Perform plasmapheresis procedures and monitor donors.
• Manage machine alarms, donor adverse events, and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines regularly.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
