Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Tampa, FL, seeks a Donor Center Technician I to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while maintaining compliance with FDA SOPs and safety standards.

You will monitor donor vitals, operate plasmapheresis equipment, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and uphold quality control throughout the donation cycle. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential for day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months’ experience in clerical or customer service.
• State-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and positive donor experience.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments, including vitals and sample testing, to ensure safety and product quality.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and troubleshoot alerts.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sample handling and shipments in compliance with SOPs.
