Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three months’ experience in a medical/healthcare environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedure.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain donor safety and positive donor experience.
• Set up equipment and label units/samples accurately.
• Maintain machine logs and document exceptions.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines daily/weekly/monthly.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure donor comfort and plasma quality.
• Dispose of biohazard waste per safety protocols.
• Triage machine alarms/alerts and perform routine QC on equipment.
