Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Documentation of training prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and provide excellent donor experience.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture; label units and samples.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms.
• Monitor donor safety and plasma quality; manage waste per safety protocols.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines; document logs.
• Provide training efficiency improvements and report unsafe conditions.
