Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to perform plasmapheresis procedures, including venipuncture, machine operation, and donor safety.

The role emphasizes adherence to FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP SOPs while delivering excellent donor experience. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months in a medical setting, with on-the-job training and documentation completion prior to independent duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasma collection with high quality and safety.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and events.
• Monitor donor safety and comfort; maintain donor confidentiality.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine calibrations and maintenance.
• Keep thorough documentation including machine logs and safety reports.
• Drive training efficiencies and ensure compliance with SOPs.
