Job summary

CSL is seeking a commitment-focused individual to support plasma collection and storage operations at our Sacramento center. You will collect plasma samples, ensure proper labeling, and transport units to freezers per SOPs, maintaining sterility with heat sealing equipment.

Daily duties include temperature monitoring, equipment calibration, and accurate donor data entry. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months in a lab or warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in laboratory or warehouse preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOPs to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are stored according to SOPs and verify proper labeling.
• Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and use heat sealer to maintain sterility.
• May prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation per center procedures.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues.
• Conduct daily calibration of equipment as per SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as business needs require.
