Job summary

CSL in Columbus, OH is seeking a role responsible for the accurate sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of plasma collected from donors. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager.

Responsibilities include collecting plasma samples, moving units to the freezer, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining labeling accuracy per SOPs, while following HSE/OSHA policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs, including unsuitable plasma units and samples
• Verify pre-printed label matches dynamic label to ensure accurate unit labeling
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to maintain sterility and quality
• May pack and ship samples and units and prepare shipping documentation
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues
